Any passionate mountain biker will find a variety of mountain bike trails in the Meraner Land. The grades of difficulty run from cycling routes on the flat valley ground to forest trails and demanding single trails at an altitude of 3,000 metres above sea level. Modern mountain bikes, including a helmet, can be hired from the tourist board office.

Many of the numerous lift facilities in the surrounding area, such as the Aschbach lift in Algund, will also transport your bike. This way, you come quickly and comfortably to the starting point of many unforgettable mountain bike tours into the South Tyrolean world. The fast downhill run and the breath-taking views of the peaks of the World Heritage site of the Dolomites, the Brenta mountain group, as well as the summits of the Texel Group Nature Park, will be a great pay-back for the hardship endured riding uphill.
