The area around Piazza Prader square and Via Mainardo street at the Via Otto Huber street intersection hosts a market filled with food and clothing every Friday from 8am to 1pm. A small food and antique market is held on Tuesday mornings in Piazza Prader square, while on Wednesday mornings, another market takes place in Piazza Vittorio Veneto square, Sinigo (Sinich) in the south of Merano. This market, like the one on Friday, primarily sells groceries and clothing. Farmers’ markets are held every Wednesday and Saturday. Markets are also held in Via Mainardo street and Piazza Fontana square on Wednesday’s and in Via Galileo street on Saturdays.
