The Nature Park Visitor Centre was established in 1984 at the Naturno (Naturns) middle school. The "Water and Light" slogan refers to the diverse environment present in the natural park. Water is therefore the major theme of the centre. From the reconstructed biotope, through to the interesting historical and cultural technique of irrigation canals, to the lush natural pond with tadpoles, frogs and other underwater creatures, the visitor centre offers a useful information point. Here, visitors can learn about the Tessa Group Nature Park as well as other parks in South Tyrol, through replicas, images and texts. Visitors can also watch interesting films and slides about the parks and observe micro-organisms under a microscope.
